Thomas Florio

American baritone THOMAS FLORIO has won praise for his performances of Eight Songs for a Mad King by Peter Maxwell Davies, with descriotions such as “outstanding” (NRC Handelsblad), “a grand master of vocal technique” (Hufvudstadsbladet) and “seamlessly combining voice with bodily expression” (Rondo Classic). He has performed chamber music in concerts and at festivals in Finland, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany and the USA; he has appeared on the opera stage at the Hamburg and Bavarian State Operas, at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, at the Opéra national de Lorraine and at the San Francisco Opera.
