NIKITA BORISO-GLEBSKY is known for winning the Jean Sibelius, Fritz Kreisler and David Oistrakh violin competitions. Born in Volgodonsk in southern Russia, he studied with Eduard Grach and Tatiana Berkul in Moscow, with Augustin Dumay in Brussels and with Ana Chumachenko in Kronberg.

Boriso-Glebsky’s engagements include solo appearances with top orchestras (the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the Russian National Orchestra, the Munich Symphony Orchestra) and a one-month tour of China with pianist Georgy Tchaidze in spring 2019. His calendar also contains appearances at the Bodensee festival and the Kuhmo Chamber Music festival. He has received several awards, including the Virtuoso prize of the Antonio Stradivari Foundation and the Sibelius birthplace medal conferred by the Sibelius Society in Hämeenlinna. Nikita Boriso-Glebsky plays a Matteo Goffrilleri violin (1720s).
