Luca Pisaroni

One of the most charismatic and diverse bass baritones of our time, Italian LUCA PISARONI made his début with the Vienna Philharmonic under Nikolaus Harnoncourt at the Salzburg Festival at the age of 26. His opera roles include Méphistophélès in Faust (Teatro Real in Madrid), the title roles in Don Giovanni (Metropolitan Opera) and Le nozze di Figaro (Paris National Opera, Salzburg Festival), Escamillo in Carmen (Royal Opera House) and Golaud in Pelléas et Mélisande (Berlin State Opera). His concert performances in the 2018–2019 season included Mozart’s Requiem and Mass in C minor at the Brucknerhaus in Linz and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony under Andris Nelson at the Gewandhaus in Leipzig and at the Dortmund Concert Hall. Pisaroni has toured North America with baritone Thomas Hampson under the heading ‘No Tenors Allowed’.
